Bound to happen in In the Kingdom of Suzu

I got a bit overconfident leaving work today and I had a little mishap. Yep! I was tooling along pretty good and hit a crack in the street and fell flat on my back! Luckily, I had a long coat and skirt and so did not give the public defender walking down the street nor the other gentleman a free show. Of course, they came over asking if I was hurt, I wasn’t, rather I was more embarrassed than anything. It was a good thing I had my backpack on instead of in my lap so it broke my my fall. I don’t think I hurt anything, my left buttock was a bit sore as well as my dignity but I just laughed—even now in thinking about it, I keep giggling. Oh well, that is what I get for zooming across the street.

In other news, my daughter got a dog! He is a cross between a Yorkshire and a Maltese so I guess he is a Morkie! His name is benny and for a little dog, he is pretty cute. She has 3 cats who seem to tolerate him pretty well, in fact the youngest one, Lana who is 6 months old, is best buddies with him and is bigger than him and will probably always will be! Her husband had gone to the pet store a few months ago to get my PrincessM’s lizard or iguana—I forget what it is—crickets and came home with Lana. My daughter had gone to the mall with the princesses and while PrincessL was getting her nails done, she and PrincessM went window shopping and ended up at the pet store just to look. You know what happened next! In all fairness, they had been looking to get a dog but were going to wait til spring.... in any event, neither she nor her husband are allowed in petsmart anymore! They will have to buy pet food at chewy.com—lol!

That is how it happens : one minute you are chugging along and the next : you bite the dust. I had a big fall last week . I was lucky too ; nothing hurt but my pride and sore all over .
I am not allowed in pet shops or shelters :-) We have five dogs and three cats . Multiple Fish and a frog .

Oh no -- I'm sure I would have been really embarrassed! Glad it turned out okay for you and no "southern exposure"!! That dog must be so cute! Josie is a shorkie -- half yorkie and half shih tzu.

Ouch! Glad there were no serious injuries, other than to your pride. The puppy sounds cute, the lizard, not so much. LOL!

I'm glad you are okay and I'm also glad you were wearing your backpack. I think it's what saved you from being really injured. So glad you are okay! Better slow down rinky racer. LOL!
