When we are travelling to Spain in January I always get a bit antsy since you never know what the weather will be like here - with possibilities of fog, ice, snow etc which might cause some problems both getting to the airport and getting away. It looks like we should be OK since mild weather is coming in from today - and the good sign is sunshine in Spain and temperatures of C16 - which should be good.
Of course, I think of other things that can go wrong - but let’s hope for the best.
It will be interesting to see the effect of the torrential rain they had in our area of Spain about a month ago. There was substantial flooding - and it is a big area for growing lettuces, cabbages and artichokes which come to the UK - there is talk f over half the crop being lost. We often have storms which last for a few hours - but this lasted for two days.
You do just wonder about the issue of climate change!!!!
All the decorations are down now - and Christmas is finally packed away - they will go into the loft and come out later this year - that is if the wrold does not go into freefall with Trump and Brexit.
Wonderful stuff here in the UK where the UK Ambassador to the EU has resigned (or was he pushed) because he felt he was not able to do his job in any futiure negotiations because the government appears to have no idea what to do. This seems pretty obvious - and unlike Baldrick they do not even have a cunning plan!. So we have a new diplomat there and the PR about him suggests he is less flaky that the last fellow - in fact he will have the same problems.

Luckily the US does not have the same problems - DJT can rustle up anyone who he wants - and just ignore all the advice given him. The money here is that he will not last till Christmas - we will see.

Oh, and if you live near a main road you might be more likely to get dementia - we live up a cul de sac - not sure it will make much difference.

We do too, but the main road goes behind the house. I suppose that's because of vehicle pollution.
