My luck is funny, I would say I have good luck but then I think about my mental illnesses and think, well not all the time. I have done a lot of soul-searching over the past month/two months and I have gotten to a point where I am satisfied with my spiritual state. I’ll get to the luck thing in a minute, my train of thought is somewhere else. I have developed a much more personal relationship with God and his Archangel Michael, I pray daily and I honestly think it helps me and I can feel it helping me but it’s not just that, I have deviated from the mainstream religious teachings because I am more of a free thinker, I have mixed parts of Christianity with the belief in supernatural abilities (White Magic), the belief that the soul has multiple paths it can take after death, reincarnation, heaven, etc. And when I say white magic and white Wiccan I mean using those forces for good, for self-healing and helping others.
Naturally, inside I have always been a free thinker, but I wanted to stay somewhat grounded to my roots. I have two amulets and an amber necklace that I wear each day, I have an amulet with the sigil of the Archangel Michael which I had blessed by a priest and this is where mixing my beliefs comes in, it has a cat’s eye gem (Cat’s Eye acts to stimulate intuition and to enhance awareness.) because I have a strong natural intuition and I wanted to develop that further, every morning I say my normal prayers, for example, the lord’s prayer, hail mary, and the usual stuff (I have a blessed crucifix as well) but after all the normal stuff I use my amulet and the crucifix and say, “I invoke the spirit of the Archangel Michael, please listen to my prayers.” and I say 4 of them, one is a prayer to my guardian angel which I tribute to Michael, one is Michael’s Prayer, and the other two are deep prayers designed to invoke his spirit to grant me protection, courage, healing etc.
Other than that I have the amber necklace which is said to protect one from outside negative energies, and I have an amulet with the Egyptian eye of Horus with a turquoise gem for an eye on an onyx medallion. The turquoise is said to increase luck and intuition, as well as (if wearing it) connects one’s mind to the universe and opens it for spiritual enlightenment, black onyx is a very spiritual stone, it is a strong grounding stone that strengthens the connection of the person with the earth to provide guidance, it’s tuned in to the earth’s yin-yang energy and it is a tremendous strength provider and it’s used to deflect the negativity of others. It’s an excellent stone for initiating the process of centering and alignment of the total person with a Higher Power. It helps us to absorb whatever energy we need from the Universe. The Eye of Horus is the Oldest of the Egyptian Gods. Called the eye of Ra represents a sign of power given to the wearer by the gods of the time. Provides Super Natural Intuition and Possibilities. Has Healing and Protective powers. Symbol that you are protected from harm by the god represented in the eye.
Anyway now to the lucky thing, I found that these amulets and prayers work and it has changed me to become a better person and it has connected me to a higher conscious state with more harmony with the earth and the universe. I honestly believe so. And it has increased my intuition and my luck strongly. Mother had to take cat to vet today to get shots and what not, I didn’t go but when she came home to drop off said cat I went outside and got her but what I didn’t know was my Eye of Horus amulet came loose and I dropped it outside and you may say “well how is that lucky?” Well an hour or so later mother came home and called me and asked if it was my necklace on the ground out there and I went to get it and help her with the groceries and she usually parks in the first spot but decided to park in the third one instead and she told me “I usually park in the first spot but when I got home I had an urge to instead park in the third spot.” And if she had parked in the first spot she would have ran over my necklace but because she parked in the third one she instead found my necklace. If that isn’t proof of spiritual guiding and increased luck I don’t know what is.
