Today, I played the Sims 2 for more hours. I also mustered the motivation to call people and invite them to the party. Here's how that went:

Molly: Invitation accepted

Dave: Not home

Tom: Invitation accepted

Eric: "Sure, alright, cool. Um, yeah." Obviously not coming at all. Jerk. He didn't even ask me where my house was. What does he think? "Maybe she won't notice when I don't show up..."

Emma and Helen: Not home

Bonnie: Not home

Dave: Invitation accepted

Julian: Not home. "Yeah, he's doing this program in Boston for a while, it'll be for all of July, and he won't be home at all until late Friday night. Is this Aidan? It sounds like Aidan. But anyway, he comes home on weekends, so you could get back to him then, or I could take a message for you, or I think one of his roommates has email, so you could email him..."

"No that's okay."

"Are you sure?"

"No, it's... it's about something this week."

"Oh, alright."

"Well, thanks. Goodbye."

Bonnie: Not worth inviting if it's just going to be me, Molly, Dave and Tom, who I've been hanging out with fairly often anyway. But I guess I really should invite Emma.

Emma: Invitation accepted. Complaining. Talking about fashion. What the hell is she talking about? Still experiencing an extreme sinking feeling. I probably will not see Julian all summer. I don't feel like talking right now.

"Okay, so, do you need directions?"

"Oh yeah."

"Alright, I can email them to you. See you later."

So this no longer qualifies as a party. (Because we all know that there is no party without Julian and Bonnie.) Oh well. I don't like parties anyway.

I have a headache and I don't know what to do with myself.
