I never have time to write anymore. I thought babies were a handful, but nope… toddlers are the real deal! They’re so full of energy and you gotta be chasing them around everywhere, making sure they don’t stick their fingers into outlets, their faces into the toilet and the cat food in their mouths. LOL.
It’s been fun. Tiring, but fun. He’s been walking since September 19th, at 13 months. He’s pretty much dominated the landing part by now… but every once in a while he WILL land on his head, so he’s consistently full of bruises. And he talks A LOT! Mostly gibberish, but lots of words and Spanish and even some in English (“let’s go” is his favorite, followed by “okay”, and “three”). He doesn’t really care for one and two, though.
So my life is mostly Daniel these days… and work. And trying to sneak in some sleep. I’m so sleep deprived I don’t even know how I function most days… caffeine, I guess. And adrenaline. At least I’m not nodding off at red lights anymore… but I AM messing up at work sometimes, nothing dangerous, but a Little embarrassing. My boss has called me out on it a couple of times… distinctly painful. I’m hating her ass right now but that’s another matter. We never did like each other, and sometimes it’s hard to get along. I dunno if it’s just me, but I always feel like she enjoys squashing me. Oh well. Whatever.
This probably isn’t the place or the time but I can’t help it… WTF, America??? Trump??? Really???!!!
Ok… I’m outta here before I get tomatoes thrown at me.
