It is now a CAT 1 ~ Hermine in Plan B

Just alot of rain yesterday. It poured it’s lil heart out yesterday all day long. From 4 in the morning till well now and it’s 9:30 p.m. so there ya go. Now we are getting winds. Around 7 we had a transformer blow somewhere near where I live. I called it in even tho it didn’t effect me personally and so grateful for that. Just hope it stays on thru the night.
The roof is having a party and I am not invited. I put a soup pot in the bathroom tub so it is more quiet. Then last night it started to drip in the kitchen cupboards. I texted the land lord this a.m. and still haven’t heard from her. Wait and see. I will wait for her call. Too tired to care really. Took everything out of the cupboard so it stays dry.
In between all the rain I took Romeo out for a walk and he did ok. Thank goodness for the poncho. Better than any umbrella.
With all this going on I did my hair cut today. I needed it bad. Looked good for 10 seconds than went out in the pouring rain. O well. She did a nice job - blowed dried it and all but that will never happen at 4:30 in the morning. Use some volumnizer on it and call it a party.
The wind out there is crazy. Going to have to leave early again tomorrow. It is hard to believe it is Sept. 1’st. This weekend is the Gecko Fest. It looks like 60% rain for saturday. I took mon. and tues. off so I can have off 2 days in a row.
Lights just flickered. Not long out of bed. May the night be peaceful for all of us.
