Tonight's entry will be short.
I have not yet settled into my new house, and I'm bummed about this. I moved last Saturday and then started house-sitting for a friend on Monday. A long-time friend is arriving into Denver tomorrow and my grandmother's 75th birthday is Saturday, so I will be in Northern Colorado all weekend. Then, orientations begin.
I don't want to do all the things this weekend. I want to crawl into bed at my new home and sleep for a few days. However, the things must be done, because you can't betray the colony!
(I have Doomsday Preppers on in the background. Since I was raised without TV and haven't really had it in my life consistently, I often find myself watching ridiculous things when I have access.)
I'm also on the countdown to the start of school. I've got ten days until class begins and I still don't know my schedule or my courses. It's become kind of a fun game. How long can they delay giving me notice about my classes? How quickly can I put together a syllabus, course plans, and assignment sheets on a course I've never seen?
Next week gonna be cray.
