Watching the Building Women's Olympic Team in Plan B

My Mom and I were total Olympics Heads. She would watch it while I worked then when I got home we would watch it again. She loved the gymnastics, swimming and the ice skating. So when I watch it I do in for the memories of her. I know she is with me watching this.
I am too tired to go out. My friend Wendy is going out. She goes out like 5 nights a week. Not drinking to get drunk but she is not the stay at home girl like me. Also she does not work - work. She retired early and does a few gigs playing her key boards in nursing homes and such. Besides it is too fricking hot out. Ugh. It rained at the hospital. Besides downtown is getting all jacked up on Gay Pride Day Parade tomorrow. It is gay pride all weekend. I live in a gay town. I don’t need to be completely surrounded by it. I don’t care if your gay or not. It just overwhelms me when I am tired. It is the biggest parade in the U.S. Our mayor hung the big rainbow flag today. Quite proud actually to have such a diverse town. Back in the day Tampa really hated the gays. They wouldn’t rent to them, let them start a bizz, let them buy a home ect. So they said fuck this shit we are moving to St.Pete and now we got the deal. The $ and they style and the fun. Then they moved to where I live. Which I don’t care. There mostly lesbians. I am friends with everyone. Kind of rambled on there.
Tomorrow I am getting my a.c. replaced. Thankyouverymuch. After this last electric bill my landlord caved in. I think I actually made her feel guilty. Good. I keep the place up ( as much as I can ) and it looks cute so there.
I have got to clean my dresser off. It is an unloading zone when I get home from work. Peppermints, left over accuchecks finger jabbers, cotton balls, pens, jewerly ect. So it is a hot mess. It drives me nuts.
Gabby is going to make it to the finals. She is so strong and hard. Her legs are just rocks. She hits that mat and it just shakes. So here is to you Mom. Peace In and Peace Out.
