Sunny days in In the Kingdom of Suzu

Sunny days since Monday but there has been a bit of a breeze which makes it a bit chilly even tho temps were in high 50s and early 60s. By then end of the week tho it is supposed to be in the 70s, not sure of the breeze factor.
I would like to thank all who note n missing me and glad I am doing so well, makes a gal feel loved–lol! Seriously, thanks so much, means a lot to me.
The munchkins—my son’s kids—are coming in to town tomorrow to have lunch with me. LittleMan has given Jeff a new name which seems to have stuck----bunny pops! At one of Jeff’s shows, I took a video of Jeff singing “ring of fire” and showed it to my son cuz he likes Johnny Cash. LittleMan also saw the video and Jeff doesn’t just sing, he also dances and jumps around—think Mick Jagger moves—and LM said “he’s hopping like a bunny” and bunny pops was born. My son also has them calling me “old gal” with a big grin, wonder if they’ll call me that tomorrow or if they will be too shy—time will tell!

I LOVE Jeffs name!! So cute!!! Thanks for your sweet note. Cracker Barrel is good anytime but I hope you are right...been so sick yesterday and today that it may end up being a while before we go. Hugs,M

"Old gal"??? You'll have to think of a snappy comeback. A young friend of mine gave me a door plaque that said "One beautiful person and one old grouch live here". He was so excited and beside himself with his joke. I opened it, laughed, and said, "Oh, that's funny, but you know, you really shouldn't call my husband an old grouch."
He jumped up and pointed at me and said, "No, you, YOU!" I had a lot of fun teasing him. :)

Oh i do---I tell Princess she is a little gal or a sassy girl but she doesn't like for me to call her that. I think they get more of a kick out of my pretending to be upset. But Jeff is still bunny pops---he likes it.

Watch out - they may start calling you "old sport." Did you ever read or see The Great Gatsby? Jay Gatsby used to call everyone "old sport."

Old sport would be ok, but I like Suzu just fine. Never read or saw the great gatsby, will have to put it on my list.

Oh, you've just got to watch The Great Gatsby with Robert Redford and Mia Farrow. It's a classic and it's so good. You can also read the book instead if your prefer. Or do both. Regardless, I highly recommend it.
