Under the glass and
Watch it burn
Sear words into
unfettered flesh

Under the glass and
don’t let it out
Flaking and fading away
But keep watch

Sizzling
and fluttering
Evaporating
But stay until it’s gone
Like dust into the sun
and then claim
it’s nonexistence
