i feel that it is difficult to fit in all the things i would like to be a part of my day and life. i guess that is where priorities come into play…

now, passing my saturday and touch of the divine and on to sunday with Jamie.

Jamie. I just re-read my previous entry about our 5th date (i guess that means sunday was our 6th). More than once he has mentioned how we have not spent much time together and that he does not know me well, which shakes me out of our dreamstate and elicits surprise. Wait. We don’t know one another inside and out. Not in this life, at least.

So, our date was a bridge walk. Portland has many beautiful bridges crossing the Willamette River and the weather was this perfect ‘false spring’ we usually get in Jan or Feb. Holding hands, kissing along the way, stopping mid-span on the bridge to make out. So fun. And he warned me that he had a birthday gift in mind (i turn 39 on Friday), but he was not sure whether it was going to work out, that either way it would give away what his gift was. After 5 miles and 3 bridges (4 crossings) he drove and parked us in a semi-random spot (near a really nice restaurant, so i thought maybe…). But no, oh no. A tiny, teeny, very fancy, very sexy, very expensive lingerie shop. I never knew how much i loved lace until then. And, the difference between department store lace and authentic sexy lingerie lace.

Wow.

I found what i wanted, but they only had the garter that fit ($130!!!), neither of the bra/bralets fit (sold out and just about the same price and the garter!!!). The lace, a dove grey, with a little purple in it, was reminiscent of art nouveau. Unfortunately, fitting my 34D girls is hard with fancy lingerie.

Well, part 2 is incomplete, school is about to start in a few. More later, if i can get the time.

Part 2 w/edit (and a new date)

Oh gosh, now i am not sure if i know what to say.

It’s whispers, declarations, eye-gazing,

maybe this needs a completely different entry.
