New improved. Litterally. Both on my computer and on my phone. My phone went from 4G to 6G automatically after the guy plugged in my new modum. The modum makes everything faster. I had to get it because they are fazing out the old ( along with the cable company it got bought out some time last year so hello to new and impoved ~ at a cost…that is without being said) Too be off line is like not excisiting. You can do everything on line now from ordering grocries ( Pantry * Amazon ) to making appts. with my doctor and not having to call them. So there is no choice. In a way it’s good for people so we don’t take there choices a way from them. They still have some control of what paper towles to buy.
Work. It was crazy yesturday. Basically did the whole floor with numerous totals. As the evening progressed I cared less and less which is so not me. But the overwhelmed part left and the could care less set in which is not good. My phone stopped working. It was a shitty phone to begin with then it stopped. We even had to call an agency for the 7p to 7a shift. Our floor is falling apart with people who don’t care. There seems to be no resolve whatsover. The nurses could see it in my face. I clocked out 20 minutes over which I don’t care. Thank gawd I had today off. Speaking of “off” call offs are so numerous it has become a joke. I am tired. I had to rant. It’s done now.
We have sunshine and warmth today. Warmer than it has been in days. Going to take the baby in town and walk around. Then if I still have nrg do some things around here that desperately need done. Like the floors. Just sayin.
Feels so good to be back on line and be connected. It is secular but also connected. Oxymoron.
Glenn Frey passing really affected me. I grew up with the Eagles. Hotel Calf. Desprado....on and on. Sigh. First Bowie now him. Let the rock and roll world rest a bit. That would be nice.
