It occurs to me that Christening your baby is a massive curtailment of freedom of religion. Your baby has no choice in the matter; therefore, by Christening him/her/it, you are in fact forcing him/her/whatever into a religion that he/she/sprogface has no idea if it/that/them even wants to be associated with it.
You wouldn’t hold a gun to an adult and demand that he/she/in-between believes, because that would be insane, so why the fuck! would you borderline drown a BABY in the name of your God?!? A God, I might add, that the fucking sprog isn’t even aware of!
So fuck Christenings, and fuck your baby.

I am practically an atheist so I really can't add much here....Although the real Jesus used his mystical healing abilities and mad martial arts skills to fight for the poor, weak, and disenfranchised of his time. That whole overturning the tables of the money lenders in front of the temple was just the tip of the mystical Kung-Fu fightin iceberg.
