Work Woes @ 2 AM? in Book Two: The Fifteenth Year of the Third Millennium of the Common Era

Today (Tuesday) for reasons previously mentioned; I could not come in to work. I sent my “replacement” a note about why I wouldn’t be there and linked him an article about Double Jeopardy… how Federal and State work and now the new issues regarding Puerto Rico. He responded VERY late with ” i got 3 more mods left and we are caught up for last week hahaha”

I went in to work on Monday. There were ZERO indications that we weren’t on track. No notes, no records, nothing to suggest that we weren’t 100% good to go. Last week… no contact from him to either me or my boss. As my replacement… after 6 times the amount of training I received… I rather figured he would be far more functional. I just… I don’t know what to say here. I sincerely understand falling behind, happens all the time, but having no sense to inform anyone or seek help about it? I just… I don’t know what I’m gonna do with the kid.
