So apparently in London the pubs [well i guess they call them ‘pubs’ over there] close at 11 p.m.which is.weird whereas here they close at 2 a.m. well it gets dark by 4 p.m. That’s another reason i’d want to live there. when it gets dark i start drinking. That’s one thing i don’t like about summer is the days are longer. what a funny expression ‘the days are longer’. no i mean it stays lighter longer. and so therefore back in my drinking days I’d wait untill it got fully dark to start drinking. those were the days. not that it was good that i drank that much a fukton. [well no].
Also it’s socially acceptable to eat in the theatres in London. like here if you eat during a show then......well you’re not allowed to. not a movie a show. although movies over there are apparently $15 per person at least at brunswick they are. which is one reason we didn’t go. It makes sense that it’s socially acceptable to do that over there since people eat during the movies and some eat while watching tv. i don’t like mindful eating i really don’t. it’s bc of my anorexia. yeah i’d brought these bars [food not alcohol] to ‘phantom’ and i felt so weird eating them during the show. but you’re supposed to. like it’s ok.to.
