So I finally got around to seeing Jurassic World last night. It was fine, pretty good actually, but can someone explain something to me? Why is it that the dinosaurs, whenever there’s a shot from behind, they have no assholes? Is this something about dinosaurs I never knew? Go watch that movie. Whenever you see a dino running in front of the camera, have a look for it’s asshole. It has no asshole! What the fuck?!?

Because dinosaurs don't have assholes, well, I'm presuming they don't because they're reptiles. It's like you never see snake or iguana ones because they're covered in scales etc etc
Hopefully that's one of life's cinematic mysteries answered haha

Not really. Snakes and reptiles are a completely different species to dinosaurs. They actually have more in common, genetically, with birds than reptiles. Until I see a velociraptor take a shit I'm going to remain adamant that there should be dino asshole.

You're right because birds do have assholes.

Why the fuck not?

They're not, dinosaurs are inherently reptiles.
Birds are surviving members of the theropods, so Tyrannosaurs, the Raptor family etc but not every dinosaur species is related to them. We're mammals but we're not closely related to elephants.
If you look at the pelvic structure of some dinosaurs you'll find a mix of 'bird hipped' and 'reptile hipped' species.
Also, birds have a cloaca, too. So my point still stands that dinosaurs probably had them. Modern day reptiles have cloaca, modern day birds have cloaca, so logically dinosaurs had them too because they share a lot of common traits between those animal classes.

Aah, I was trying to make a joke, so fuck you and your logic, dammit.
