I am having my first day off today in about 12 days i think it is…
between working the two jobs and my manager at job #1 having an accident and ending up having a hairline fracture in her ankle, I was juggling two places, and have even picked up another shift this week so today is my only day off until next Tuesday. Thankfully the day i picked up at the end of the week is only a 4hr end of the day shift, so I will have all day to get stuff done.
Christmas shopping is just about wrapped up as well. I still need to get materials if i can to make one more thing for mom, so that will be part of my running around on Friday, Dads done, niece and nephew are shopped for, I just want to pop a few dollars into their gifts before I wrap them, i need to pick up something for my sister, and then finish off my husband.
His family’s done as well, we just need to ship it, and now i will have to do it rush, because wasn’t able to last week.
I have a few ideas for hubby, 2 of them quite up there in price, one of them I am kinda humming and ahhhing only because we a) don’t really have the room b) because i could do other smaller things with the cost of this one thing… I am not saying what it is as he has a profile on here as well and access to read this lol.
I also still need to pick up stuff to make the loaves and such for my baskets.
And I am thinking I may actually be making one less as it would seem that my BF, and her man and there babe may be moved into a place a province away before Xmas :’(
Also found out I won’t get to see my other BF who is living in Scotland as this Xmas as she will also be in the same other province away and her father who had two vehicles is apparently now down to one so she doesn’t have access to a car to drive to see me, so now I won’t see her until she moves back home July 2017 from Scotland.
I haven’t seen her since our wedding :’(
Plus side to all this, another BF back home is working on getting me a free ride down for xmas to the folks place as her sister is here in the city, and she and her man are going home on the 23rd, and she’s trying to get me and D in on that drive.
I’ll take that over $150 each way on the shuttle for 2 ppl. I’ll only be giving a little gas money instead, and probably a more comfortable drive. She’s also trying to get them to stay until boxing day and take bring us back to the city instead of them leaving on xmas day.
New phones are still working out great, got him an otter box for his phone so hes all set now for the life of the phone. I am getting my case this week.
Not an otter box, but still a nice case.
unless i find an otter box i like that doesn’t make it over bulky..
