I don't have any books!!! Oh noes. Tragedy! I guess I'd better remedy that situation ASAP. This in NOT a book entry, apparently. Heh. Good times, though. I think my old stomping grounds, diary/journal-wise, is on the way out. I've already lost 2 years worth of writing on that site, in the past, which is A LOT, and which completely devastated me at the time it was lost (I actually shed tears over losing all that writing, and I'm the type of guy that doesn't cry)....so I'm hoping this site is more stable. Either way, it's nice to have somewhere to write. Not much has changed, other than I signed up with a temporary employment agency today, and I kicked ass on the typing test, 2 word per minute faster than I claimed I could type on my resume. I ended up with 76 wpm, no errors, and I don't know about the 10-key test, but I know I got 100% accuracy, at least. I tested 60% on Excel, and 73% on Word....not good....below average. Heh. But I don't care. I know those programs as well as I need to, as far as I'm concerned. I mean...just type it out, right? It'll be okay. The lady at the agency told me that neither of those tests matter, just the typing and 10-key tests, which I rocked, of course. If you are the type of person who writes regularly, typing isn't really an issue. It's more a matter of rhythm and emotion than anything else.

But I think I'm going to get a job soon. I'll at least have interviews coming up, and I'm always great at interviews. I guess I'm a good actor. Damnit. Why wasn't I born in L.A.? But anyway, if I get an interview, as far as I'm concerned, I've got a job. Unless I don't want the job in the first place, I've never been denied a job after I've been granted an interview. I'm a nice guy, what can I say? I am from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, and I look like a typical Mormon. I've got a buzz going on at the moment, since I'm going bald, albeit very, very slowly, and I dress nice. Although, I need to go Christmas shopping for myself for clothes soon. It's gonna be Old Navy, because I like to look preppy, as far as the workplace is concerned, and their clothes are relatively cheap and also they are consistently fashionable, over the years.

I'm the slightest bit concerned about taking drug tests, as I've pretty recently quit smoking cannabis, but I'll take that as it comes. If I have to try to cheat the test, I will. Absolutely.

I'm listening to a trance remix of a Sigur Ros song, at the moment, and it's a little amusing, I must say. It's a song from the album Takk.... (which means thanks, apparently, in Icelandic). I saw that band in SLC on their tour, and it was not unlike going to church.

Well, this is all I have, for now. Take care.

Yay for good results! One step ahead of me. You've now been added. Now when you click reply to a note, I get it in my comments page but the conversation stays together.

Woohoo! That's a nice thing. I like it.

Welcome to PB! So are you currently in SLC? We're currently home to the most polluted air in the nation! Woo hoo! cough, cough, cough

Carmen the Vampire simple mind ⋅ December 16, 2013

Yes. I know, really, with the pollution. I've been trying to stay inside. Hoping for a small storm, at least. :) Not that I want to shovel.

simple mind Carmen the Vampire ⋅ December 16, 2013

That storm should be Thursday, last time I checked.

I love trance and I hadn't ever heard of Sigur Ros so I looked them up.

I love them. Thanks, man.

You're welcome. Anytime. Agaetis Byrjun was their breakout album, although all their albums are good.
