I was browsing job openings and one came open today at a middle school, needing a library para. I want to apply, but the pay isn’t very good and it’s almost a full-time position.... that wouldn’t be a problem if I wasn’t taking a full load of classes three days a week next semester. Hm. I wouldn’t get to see my family often, and the pay would only cover daycare costs. I’m not really sure if I want to apply or not. It would look really good on my resume in the future, but I don’t know if that’s a good enough reason. Jacob says he wouldn’t, but I’m on the fence. I’m thinking he’s mostly against it because he wants to see me more often than not next semester, which is understandable.
All of my classes next semester are evening classes, so I’m needing something to do during the day. I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew like I did the past few months though.
I’ll figure it out.
I watched the Democratic debate, sort of. The kids were ultra mega grumpy but they fell asleep during it. Everyone keeps picking on Bernie Sanders about how he is going to pay for stuff, and people don’t seem to “get” his ideas sometimes. I love how they never ask the other candidates how they are going to pay for stuff.
I watched the Republican debates the other night too. I think it’s interesting, although I’m nowhere near being a Republican. I’m also not really a Democrat. I’m probably more along the lines of a socialist/communist. :o
Yes, I’m rather evil because I care that people have their basic needs met by the government!
To be honest, the Republican debates were what spurred my interest in the whole “lizard people” conspiracy theory. Carly Fiorina has very lizard-like motions and body language and it gave me ideas.
Yeah.
