I moved over here from OD....like so many people. Just for fun I will give the basics.
My name is Rose. I was born in the United States but now I live in Istanbul, Turkey. When I was 21 I moved to NYC to start my life over. I met someone who brought me to Turkey to start another new chapter of my life. Things didn't work out between us but I decided that my life here is so much better than it was in the states so I stayed.
Its been 3.5 years since I moved here and while it is challenging at times I don't regret it at all. After 3 years working at the same company, working weird hours/weekends, I decided to make a change with the help of my current boyfriend. Before I was working at a language school. Now I am a kindergarten teacher with normal hours and weekends off...and summers off...paid :)
I am 6 months into a relationship and couldn't be happier...I am glad that I changed my job but now I live further from my friends. I am sad because I know those relationships will eventually fall apart but this is what happens when you make changes to better another relationship.
I am not much of a writer...I would like to be but I know that it just isn't possible...But i do like to read other people because people's lives fascinate me :)
