I miss that kind of music. Nice to have the day off and tomorrow off too - I am sorry for the reason but it is what it is. If it weren’t for dance I would die. I know some where in me I am part black and it’s ok. There is nothin wrong with a lil bump n grind I always say. I have always felt “free” when I danced. Put on my “head phones” and danced to the Sugar Hill Gang - Rappers Delight - Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Dutch Bus - They have pig latten in it which we spoke as kids. My parents spoke it thinking I didn’t understand it - Music was more “nicer” back then. Not so much Booty Slingin kind of lingo and nothing of hoes or bitches. Missy E....The Rain - Suppa Duppa. Old school is the best school. Thank Gawd for Madonna ( Justify my Love ) and Timberlake ( he is a Trifecta) those two right there were game changers as far as music goes in the 80’s and 90’s and even now. But don’t get me wrong I love the oldies but wonderfuls like Carol King and James Taylor ( big on heroine ) but hey they both made it big. Wow it is 3:18 time for bed. Haven’t stayed up this long in a long time. Feels good to be a grown up once in a while.
