Pessimism. in Poetry by Me

I can't find a reason to stay
There is nothing to keep me here
There is no reward in persevering

I can't find the courage to go
To go through all that
Only to find myself still unhappy

But day in and day out
I find the strength to stagnate

Each day is longer than the last
My thoughts drift elsewhere, anywhere
My spirits rise and fall, plummet

I don't know what to do
So I do nothing at all
