RAP VS. HIP HOP in AWAKEN

RAP MUSIC.............to some, calling it music is an insult. I’ve been listening to RAP MUSIC since i was 7, some of the greatest rappers on earth don’t even do it anymore, like LL COOL J for example, he went on to star in some major movies with major stars and now starring in NCIS:L.A.....................I remember him for song like MOMMA SAID KNOCK YOU OUT( one of my all time favorites) ROCK THE BELLS, GOING BACK TO CALI( yo man, i don’t think so) and other great rap songs, then there ICE-T, QUEEN LATIFAH, WILL SMITH( yes folks, he was a rapper before an actor) and countless others that stretched there careers beyond the mic.......................BUT NOW??????????? hip hop is the thing, HIP HOP to me is RAP UNDER WATER, rappers are not RAPPERS, there ENTERTAINERS, they don’t make RAP ALBUMS, they make LPs, they don’t rap about the struggles of inner city living, black on black crime, and surviving............its about CARS, MONEY, JEWELS, HOUSES,HOW MUCH THEY GOT, HOW MUCH THEY SPEND, AND HOW MANY WOMEN THEY BAGGED...........rap was and still is hated by most people, when RUN-DMC was rhyming everyone thought it was just a bunch of noise, still do. The 30 plus years listening to RAP MUSIC has made me hateful of the way it’s done now, even GANGSTA RAP is not the same, where’s the F**K THE POLICE songs? where the ROLLIN DOWN THE STREET, SMOKIN ENIDO, SIPPIN ON GIN AND JUICE raps, the YOU GOTS TO CHILLs, the LADY’S FIRST?( which was rapped by QUEEN LATIFAH btw) and the YOU MUST LEARNs????? where is that type of raps at????? it’s a wonder to me that RAP MUSIC has turn into HIP HOP, it’s nothing but a waterdown, BRADY BUNCH version if itself now, and from a man that has listened to every type of RAP SONG there is.................it’s really sad. Guys got to HIP HOP about there ROLL ROYCE or MAYBACHS( which if they keep playing around they won’t have one) lady HIP HOPPERS got to show skin to sell there records( and have no talent) and so on, so for those that hate RAP MUSIC since day one????? at this point I dont blame you, because HIP HOP is nothing like ORIGINAL RAP MUSIC..............and it will never be the same.........................SO SAY WE ALL.
