J'ai Adore Manana in 2014: The Year That Was

As of Friday gone I am officially debt free once more! That means no more overdraft, no more contracts, and (most pleasing of all) no more debtors with their red text and upper case type. I feel good, relieved, and, hmm, I feel positive, real positive!

Today I called time-out on anything nearing excursion, the Spanish lesson got the heave-ho but shopping was given the go. I happily went loco today treating myself to 2 bottoms, a hoddie, and 2 t-shirts. And, I couldn’t help but be magnetised to the open door of a tucked-away-in-the-back-streets camera shop! Hence I finally picked up a tripod, lens cap, and a fish-eye lens..

In conclusion I ordered rosetta al fungi with a mojito accompaniment.

I feel happy.

But I shouldn’t get carried away like the dish that ran away with the spoon. He thought he had it made till she ended up resembling burnt toast. It’s fair to say I’m riding a wave of positivity day-to-day though the people management aspect is driving me a little insane! In all honesty? Some people just need to be asked, ‘Seriously, what the fuck do you expect?!’
C’est la vie it takes all spectrums of life now where’s the remote control so I can adjust the contrast?

There are many, many things j’ai adore of Madrid, the suspiciously low metro, train roofs are not one of them! I never run for the train. The other evening on my return from work I was reminded why as I skipped onto the metro a little too over eagerly causing me to spank my noggin, hard! Into the ceiling. Cue that awkward moment when a metro carriage full of passengers try their best to stifle manic hysterics of laughter.
Never mind my gracious amigos let me set you off first.
I couldn’t help it, I laughed my ass off!

Fortunately it’s still attached to my legs along with my clown feet, we’re building from the top down.

Really, all I need to do is to keep a balance at work, hit the stats, and improve me espanyol. If I can hit all those goals from now till Christmas I’ll look back on this year with fondles and love.
