Last night's sleep: 8 hours
BB Bench Press: 5 @ 45, 95, 135 lbs
4, 3, 2 @ 165 lbs (+5 lbs)
DB One-Arm Row: 5 @ 40, 60 lbs
5, 5, 7 @ 80 lbs (-5 lbs)
DB Press:
10, 10, 13 @ 32.5 lbs (+5 lbs)
Wide-Grip Lat Pull:
10, 10, 9 @ 131 lbs (+5 lbs)
Reverse Fly: 10, 10, 12 @ 12.5 lbs
One-Arm Cable Lateral Raise: 10, 8, 6 @ 10 lbs (+3 lbs)
Crux of workout: 54 minutes
I guess I ended up taking a couple days off. Still only three days straight “at the end of the week”; it’s no big deal. Rest is good for you.
Hit the wall with bench, and that’s okay. I’ll backcycle to 150 or 145. Crushed the rows. I’ll be rowing 100 lbs for sets soon enough. : )
For shits and giggles, I bought a preworkout thingie. ENERGY will always make me think of powerthirst. I consider it mostly a placebo effect; it doesn’t make you stronger. It just kind of makes you not sleepy. Anecdotally, I wasn’t exhausted by the end of my workout. That’s almost a first.

It's hard to stay motivated. I need to feel like I'm progressing every week. So if I ever miss a lift or feel like I'm not getting stronger, oh boy, there goes my mental game.
