    Cycle II, Week 6: Upper A

    Yesterday's nutrition: Fair.
    Last night's sleep: 8 hours

    BB Bench Press: 5 @ 45, 95, 135 lbs
    5, 5, 6 @ 160 lbs (+5 lbs)
    DB One-Arm Row: 5 @ 45, 65 lbs
    5, 4, 4 @ 85 lbs (+5 lbs)

    DB Press:
    10, 10, 13 @ 30 lbs (-5 lbs)
    Wide-Grip Lat Pull:
    10, 10, 13 @ 126 lbs (+5 lbs)

    Reverse Fly: 10, 10, 8 @ 12.5 lbs
    One-Arm Cable Lateral Raise: 10, 10, 13 @ 7 lbs (-3 lbs)

    Crux of workout: 67 minutes

Maybe it was the quality of sleep, I don’t know, but I felt like I crushed the weights today. As always, I feel weakest in my first set, and progressively stronger with each set. Whether it was physical or mental or both, I nailed that last set of bench. I’ve checked my records, and my best performance has been 5, 4, 5 @ 165 lbs. I should be able to surpass that either next week, or the week after.

As for rows, best previous performance was 4, 3, 3 @ 85 lbs. While I will be backcycling (probably) to 80 lbs, it’s nice to know I set a personal best.
