Dropped stupid off at the snip snip specialist yesterday morning for a cone of shame and a few shots. They said he did really well and he was cooperative during the procedure…my cat was cooperative? I think he may have gotten him confused with another cat. Anyways, they said he would be lethargic and not have an appetite for up to 24 hours. This is completely normal.
I bring him home and he goes straight for the dry food. I figured ok, he had been fasting since midnight, he is probably really hungry. I gave him the bad mommy dinner I promised. He ate an entire can of white albacore in one sitting. Then he napped with me for a few hours on the couch.
When he woke up, he was back to his old self. Running, jumping, playing, scratching the cat stairs and drinking out of the toilet.
I on the other hand have been sleeping on and off since 3 PM yesterday ( just woke up an hour ago) and haven’t eaten anything. I don’t feel sick. I’ve been taking my meds regularly and I’m not having a low. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say I had been neutered. lol. Then again, I could have been just really really tired.
