No India in All Good Things

So I'm not going after all...

The Indian Embassy in Toronto suddenly decided they could do a visa in a day for the Canadian writer, even though it's unheard of there and supposedly impossible, so although I got my visa today, so did she, and so she's the one who gets to go to New Delhi.

I'm relieved in many ways, but it's also hard to have something like that snatched away from you barely 12 hours before you leave.

And annoyed, too, because it's wasted the last three days of my life.
