Well that’s a surprise to turn the TV on and see that the cyclone has been increased from a Category 1 to a Category 4, and will become a Category 5 (the strongest) when it crosses the coast.

Thankfully by the time it makes it’s way down the coast it seems to be predicted as dropping back to a 1 and then a low, so we should just get a fuckload of rain out of this.
The poor people up north though! Pretty rare for a cyclone to cross over this far south.
