Something I Would Really Like To Know Tuesday, July 18, 2006
Anyone out there remember Keith? He's my ex that cheated on me with another girl from way back when. Well here's a situation that I just can not understand for the life of me. I have thought and thought and thought about it and came up empty every single time. I just can not find any logic what-so-ever for the actions being taken by his girl friend. Ok here's what keeps happening.
I have a MSN messenger. (yeah me!) With that messenger I talk to friends. (clever, eh?) Anyway, a long time ago I had Keith on that messenger. A long time ago I deleted him from it. Then I got a message from a different name saying it was Keith and that his other messengers weren't working. At first I ignored the messages. Who needs the drama, right? Well then one day I answered "him." You know... just to say what's up. This was months ago. It had been months maybe even a year since I had spoke to him. However, he was speaking weird. So after awhile I figured out that it wasn't him. It was actually his girlfriend. So I blocked the name. She then messaged me from another messenger. Then she made another name on MSN to message me. Now keep in mind, I have NEVER messaged either one of them first. They weren't even on my list so I didn't know when they were online. I completely ignore them and want nothing to do with them. So last night when she messaged me from MSN (another name) I completely ignored her. Never answered. Then using Keith's name on Yahoo she messaged me. I answered the message with a question that only Keith would know. She bombed the answer. So I knew it was her. So anyway... she gets down right PISSED off at me for answering her message. She starts telling me to stop messaging her and that she was going to block me and stuff.
Now my question that I can't figure out for my life is this: If someone has NEVER messaged you EVER and you dont want to talk to them... WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU MESSAGE THEM FIRST??
PLEASE! SOMEONE tell me this! Is that crazy to anyone else but me? I seriously can't understand it. She has to know that I have never messaged her first. She must! Because it's her on the messenger. If she would just simply stop messaging she would never hear from me again. It really is that simple. Why can't she figure that out?
Now, I know what she's really doing. She's just checking to see if I'll still talk to Keith. The answer to that is "no," unless constantly messaged over and over. However, if she really can't trust her b/f to not message girls she doesn't approve of.. why stay with a man you can't trust? I mean, If I had my choice, I wouldn't ever talk to either one of them ever again. Alas, that just isn't happening because THEY won't stop. (shakes head) I just don't understand.
I have a lot more to say about other things in my life, but I have to go to sleep now.

I've never understood that kind of behavior myself. As you said, if you can't trust the person you're with - why be with them?

she sounds crazy. why go to all that effort to get mad at you and say not to messenge her.
it seems like you are doing the right thing by ignoring them because they obviously can't take the hint that you want nothing to do with them. hope it all works out. [lostonthesea]

She sounds crazy and really insecure. She is probably just paranoid.
If she can't trust him, then why is she with him? You have to remember if someone cheats on you with another person, what makes them think that it isn't going to happen to them. Thats probably why she is acting that way.
