Something peculiar I’ve noticed
After any particularly heated incident, I notice that I ignore things. Discard them. Things that aren’t allowed into my conscious awareness.
Right now, it’s only afterwards that I notice it. I don’t seen to have any access to the perception before it is categorized and dismissed by my brain/nervous system/perceptual apparatus.
It reminds me of the so poignant observation that the physical phenomena that my brain dismissed as mere products of error. That lights can’t possibly be in the sky or in my room, or anywhere else in which light source is absent, so says my reason by way of justification that I can’t be safe in a world with inexplicable lights.
Why does my brain dismiss these things?
