I spoke to one of my friends about Jennifer and she said to give her the benefit of the doubt. Jen said that she has a lot on her mind and that's why she hasn't spoken to me. Ok. My friend also said that I shouldn't invest all my time into one person when we haven't even set up boundaries. Like, we're going to see if this works, or we are only going to talk to each other. She's right, and I told her that I feel bad keeping my options open.
But I see what she means.
Then there's this girl at work that comes off as if she's taken an interest in me. I don't know her and we've only spoke at least five minutes, but she gave me her Spotify and I liked her songs. She's a vibe. She's also very pretty. She could just be being nice to me too.
Jen told me that she took her cat to the vet today and that was the last I heard. I'm not going to chase after her. I'll just let things play out the way they're supposed to.
