Stood My Ground Saturday, September 03, 2005 Kumbi was served last week. How do I know? He called me to let me know. You see, the thing about Kumbi is that he really likes to try to get into people's heads and make them squirm. However, I know him now and I call his bluffs.
He called to ask if we could talk about this. I said sure and we met outside to talk. He told me that Crystal, (His wife or maybe exwife, [I am not sure]) is in jail and that is the reason he hasn't been paying me the money he owes me.
I told him, "Not my problem. My problem is that you aren't paying what you owe me."
Then he tried a few other excuses. Each excuse he gave me I shot down. I stood my ground and didn't let him get to me. Then he tried the only approach he had left. He tried to bluff me. He explained to me if I wanted to take him to court and try to do that, then that was fine.
I told him, "I served you, didn't? I know my options. Either you pay... or we go to court. Your choice."
The he tried to explain to me why my signed piece of paper wasn't going to hold up in court. He explained that he talked to someone that said there was no way it would hold up in court.
And I said, "I am 100% confident in my case. I have absolutely no fear in going to court."
Being that I stood up to him and didn't fall under his pressure he really didn't know what to say. He then went to pity. He tried to explain that he didn't have any money and his daughter would go hungry if he paid me.
I played cold heartless bitch and said, "I am looking out for ME now. Not you, not her. I want my money. I can't afford groceries for myself. I just want my money. I did this for YOU, and I am the one that is suffering. Sell the damn rims and give me what you can."
He tried to explain that he tried to sell them and gave me lots more excuses. So finally I just told him, "Get me some money immediatly or we go to court. It's that easy."
He said he'd give me money on Friday and that he would continue to try to sell the rims.
So now we wait until Friday. If I get money from him, GREAT! If not, we go to court and I garnish the bastard. Either way works for me!
Oh and I looked up Kumbi's wife on the Michigan offenders search and she is there. It also states she has a tatoo that says, "Kumbi" on her left breast. That makes me laugh. She has her ex husband's name on her breast. That should really make it easy to find a new man. Rolls eyes.
It's getting close. Do you know what it's getting close to? It's getting close to the time that Kumbi pays me back, "by force or not." After that I get to cut off all ties with him and it will all be over. No more Keith. No more Kumbi.
All I will have to do is think about C and live my life the way I have dreamed about for years.
