My Sad Cousin Sunday, August 28, 2005
I am a little worried about my roommate/cousin, Michael. When I got home from C's last night, Michael was very down. He openly admited to being depressed. I know exactly why too, but there is not much I can do about it. When I got home last night, he said, (reluctantly) "Did you have a good time?" And I said yes. He then said, "I don't want to hear about it." Which I understood so we talked about other things. Then we watched A Charlie Brown Christmas together.
He's sad because he doesn't have a significant other. He's sad because he's behind on student loans. He's upset because I am finally happy again. Well maybe he's just jealous about that. He's got a lot on his mind and it makes me sad. I love Michael very much and can't imagine my life with out him. I know he's also scared that if C and I work out me and Michael will have to go our separate ways. However, he really has nothing to worry about there. It's way too early to bring that up. However, he did bring it up once and said he gets Sophie because I'll have C. However, like I said, it's too early to be talking about custody rights over my Sophie. However, on the other hand I could see how it could upset him.
Sylvester (the new cat) comes to us on Thursday. I sincerely can't wait. I am so excited. I am really nervous about Sophie though.
That's about all for now. I haven't talked to C since last night and it makes me a little nervous. However, he did e mail me tonight about an hour ago.
