You’ve turned me into pavlov’s dog
And I don’t quite know how
You’ve turned me into pavlov’s dog
My training started with the vow

I haven’t seen you for quite some time
Yet, somehow the training sticks
As soon as I hear that music tune
I anticipate the tricks.

Pavlov trained his loving pups
To cower at his bell
And you have taught my loving brain
To cower for you as well

For 8 long years I have been free
No kicks or slaps or pain
But when I heard that haunting song
I was back there again

The background song to many fights
Played softly in the store
And I began to tense and fear
Just like I did before.

But this time I did not get hurt
You were nowhere around
Yet still I prepped as if to fight
In case you could be found

You’ve turned me into pavlov’s dog
I’m waiting for the fight
But this time I will start to learn
That i will be alright.
