More about Moore
I read something very interesting about Michael Moore on Aint It Cool News. So I’m linking, not to there, but to another article about Moore (which was also linked to by AICN).
For those who cannot be bothered clicking on the link, it’s about Moore’s next documentary. Which is to be called Fahrenheit 911: The Temperature At Which Freedom Burns.
It will investigate alleged links between the Bush family and the Bin Ladens and will be released in time for the next Presidential elections.
I will say this for Moore. He really knows how to pick his targets. I can’t wait.
Speaking of Moore, I have something else from everyones favourite press corp.
Cult claims documentary maker fictional
Central Reservation Affiliated Press:
Hollywood was stunned today when an ultra conservative right wing religious cult claimed that award winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore did not actually exist.
The cult, who call themselves the Church of Im Right, Your Wrong, Deal With It, spoke out after Moores controversial speech at the Academy Awards in which he claimed that President bush was a fictional President. Most of Moores detractors have said that the film Moore won the Oscar for, Bowling for Columbine, was actually a fictional film in which Moore made claims which were not balanced out by real life.
But the CIRYWDWI have gone further. In a statement made earlier on today they said, Look at who Michael Moore is. He is a fat, unshaven liberal self-confessed slob who seems to be proud of the fact that he dropped out of college due to a lack of parking spaces. Hes too unbelievable to be real.
When it is pointed out to the cult that Moore has made TV shows, more than one documentary film, speaking appearances and his speech at the Oscars, they reply It is an actor in a fat suit. Moore does not exist. He never has. It has all been a huge joke played on, and at the expense of, the public by liberal practical jokers. We are right. You are wrong. As always. Deal with it.
Attempts to get a comment from Moore were hindered when he spent half an hour laughing, only stopping to say, They think I dont exist!
The cult also cast doubts on the reality of Ralph Nader, Susan Sarandon and the TV show The West Wing, its stars and its creator.
