Note: I called it. I knew they were gonna stuff it with ads. Enshittification is real, and now it’s affecting things that sucked to begin with.
Other reasons to boycott ChatGPT/generative AI programs writ large: They’re creating child porn. They’re collecting data from supposedly “private” information given to it by users. The people behind them absolutely refuse to be transparent about their programs, motives, or how data is being used. Plus all the info in the images, which I’ve independently verified.
