I'm really happy to share that in response to the export tool we built, the OD admin has agreed to push out the site closure date until the end of February!

That said, PLEASE BE GENTLE WITH THE EXPORT TOOL NOW THAT THERE'S MORE TIME. If you're seeing a few failures in a row, consider coming back and trying again in a few hours. It's starting to look like the enthusiastic response to the tool has started to tank the OpenDiary server — something I think we can all be a bit sympathetic towards given PB's historical struggles lol.
In response to that, I've lowered the speed at which entries are scraped. I've also made some tweaks so that the larger journal exports *should* now complete, and added the ability to resume exports if they fail. This should hopefully cut down on annoyance when there's a failure mid-export. Reach out if you still encounter issues.
We're hard at work on the OD -> PB importer, and are hoping to have that up and running very soon.
