Okay. New year, fresh new start!

You know how much I love structure, right? This might be the most structured I’ve ever, ever been when it comes to my journal. Maybe it’s to the point of severe overkill, but maybe it’s the added structure that I need to make significant changes.

I noticed that when I did 75 Hard two years ago (and somewhat again when I did it with the vintage/pre-loved versions), documenting progress was the way I was able to see visible change. And there was a point when I thought of quitting when I went back and looked at the comparison between, say Day 1 and Day 45, and I saw remarkable change…and that alone kept me going!

I want to use this entry title convention to help me set and track intentions for the day since I will likely be writing in the mornings. Setting intentions is super helpful for me. Maybe not every morning, but let’s see how this goes!

Of course, I’ll keep writing about all of my comings and goings, but this will be the start of Operation Delta (OP∆) where I’ll write my entries but won’t it be fun (haha) to track my intentions for my Physical (P), Career (C), and Relationships (R)…so that I can see progress and actually move the needle?

I wanted to do a recap of 2025 yesterday, but as I was going through my entries, I noticed that 2025 seemed like a year that sort of wavered around, yet stood still. Sure, there were some fun moments, some good moments, some super sucky moments…but not much movement of anything.

This year, I’m inviting change. REAL change. Visible change. Hence, OP∆.

Here’s the key to the targets in my titles:

P — PHYSICAL HEALTH
P0 — No intentional movement or nutrition focus
P1 — Light care (walk, stretch, protein awareness)
P2 — Show up (lifted, core, or intentional training)
P3 — Dialed training (progressive load, core focus)
Rule: Visible change is built through consistent P2–P3, not extremes.

C — CAREER SUCCESS
C0 — Maintenance only / avoidance
C1 — Light clarity (admin, reframing, resume tweaks)
C2 — Advancement (applications, outreach, portfolio/spec work)
C3 — Positioning (interviews, strategic conversations, income movement)
Rule: Career security comes from repeated C1–C3, not pressure-filled bursts.

R — ROMANTIC OPPORTUNITIES
R0 — Closed loop (intentionally not engaging)
R1 — Available (responded, stayed open, profile active, said yes)
R2 — Engaged (date planned, meaningful conversation, intentional curiosity)
R3 — Aligned (date happened - RAD!, standards held, clarity gained—no fantasizing)
Rule: Track participation, not chemistry.

And let’s be honest about the romance part. I’m still not 100% that I even want a partner. But I would like some interaction in 2026. I’m not dead! I feel like the R could also be about my friend relationships too…brunch dates are still dates, right? :)

As you can see from my targets in the title, I’m not heading into this in a super hardcore way. It’s New Year’s Day. I can’t really score an interview. I don’t really want to play around with my dating profile. And I feel like I just want to stretch and take a nice, long walk with the dog today.

But I’m excited about the format. I am such a geek at heart. Sue me. I plan to do brief recaps at the end of each month. I suppose it would also help to make a tracking chart so I can see my intention level at-a-glance and track it like a psycho! Maybe even color-code it? Ahahahah!! (but I’m kind of serious). Be honest. Have I actually gone insane?

Also! I did the 13 Magical Wishes, and today is the day that I get to open the last “wish” or manifestation that I must be responsible for in 2026. There’s an online ceremony that I’m supposed to join, so I think I’ll put my last “wish” in my pocket and take it out with me on the long dog walk so I can follow along on my phone if we’re still out walking.

Let’s go, 2026! My psycho mantra: if I don’t track it, it never happened.
xox,
