I’ve been up for a while. Made my coffee. Took the dog out to poop. Clicked around online. Played around with AI, trying to find a program that will make videos for free. Clicked around Prosebox. Air-fried some chicken to have later for my next two dinners.
I can’t think of anything to write about this morning. I’m thinking maybe a good walk will help me get a little more creative.
Yesterday’s brunch was wonderful. My friend, MM, who I know from The Cutie Pie Company took me to brunch (and bought, even though I told her not to - she insisted!). The venue is so freaking cool and I want to go back! I was bummed that I didn’t see the peacocks, so I’m not sure what happened there, but the old house was really cool.
We talked about how scary unemployment is and how much it suuuuuucks, among other things. Did I ever tell you that Chief Cutie finally got the boot? I actually kinda wish I could go back there now, but I think it’d be too controversial. Plus, they just did a layoff, so I don’t see it at all anyway.
Regardless, thinking about things I need to do for the upcoming week.
- Finally file for unemployment
- Figure out my medical situation (COBRA is $1500/month for me, so I’m looking at alternatives)
- Clean out my garage - maybe see if I can get out of that part of my lease? That would give me an extra $150/month.
- Figure out other ways I can tighten the belt
- Plan my new workouts for next week - I think the arm wound is okay enough to lift weights again
- Get back with the company with the 6-month gig and see if we can come to some kind of an agreement
- Start thinking about a move back to former city???
It’s too much to think about right now. I need to go for a walk.
