Good morning. Thank you for all of the kind words on my vulnerable-ish post yesterday. I feel better today. I even feel more momentum!
This morning, I’m all about business.
I have requested a meeting with a guy I’ve done business with in the past, who is looking for a consultant on a project that they want worked on. But they don’t exactly know what they want.
I need to put together something like a “pre-proposal” before I potentially dig into this project, because I don’t know what all they want me to put into this. This would be a lot of work - similar to TLIC (The Line I Created) for the other company. It would essentially be a similar project…create a whole line of products…but I don’t have the tools like my previous company had.
I don’t have the staff; I don’t have the equipment; I don’t have the location (as in, we are spread all over the country).
So I need to come with questions and with ideas on how to solve those potential road blocks and how to go around them or work through them.
Also, do I charge a fee for this meeting?
I wish I knew how to consult. I guess I’ll stumble through this.
Wish me luck on this front. And then wish me luck regarding the many applications I sent out yesterday. And THEN…wish me luck on the DREAMMMMM JOB popping up outta nowhere!
