Cat, Chad, Cousin Thursday, February 10, 2005

Ok, Mayonessa, you asked about my cat's peeing preferences so now I have to tell a story about my cat, Sophie whom is almost 2 years old. Her bday is April 16th and all gifts should be in care of ME. She likes milk rings, shadows, and paper towels.

So my cat is a bit strange. She loves to follow Michael and I to the bathroom everytime we use it. That's not too strange, but get this... One day I was running late at work so I just ran to the bathroom before I went home. (Didn't want to risk driving the whole commute on a full bladder... remember I have a whole block commute) So when I got home Sophie was thrilled to see me. I 99% of the time go to the bathroom when I get home and she knows it so she always runs there before me. Well, I told her Catwhen I got in, "No Soph, I don't have to go today." I really said that too... outloud and stuff. Then I made dinner and ate it. She kept meowing at me. So finally I got up to brush my hair and stuff and Sophie was so excited that I was in the bathroom. She meowed happily as she sniffed her litter box. She would sniff it, then walk to me, meow, then go back to it. Finally I had to know what was going on. I watched her for a few moments and finally had to know what would happen if I sat down on the toilet. So I did. Sophie then jumped into the litter box and went. That darn cat wouldn't go unless I did!

--End of Story--

Ok, so today was alright. Nothing special happened. I want to kill one of the maintenance guys. His name is arrogant asshole. Well, actually his name is Chris, but arrogant asshole fits him better. I call him, CB though. It stands for crybaby. He doesn't know that. I mean he knows I call him CB, but he doesn't know what it stands for. Sheeesh... do I have to explain everything? Well, not everything... but most things.

CHAD!!! I need your address again. I lost it! I would e-mail you, but this is easier. Your present is finished! WOOO HOOO! Send me an e-mail and I will get your present off to you as soon as Tim the mailman gets back from vacation. Nahh.. just kiddin... I"ll try to send it out tomorrow.

So, my cousin and I were walking out of our apartment the other day, and the sun was shining. It was a beautiful day and we were smiling and laughing. Then I looked over and saw the mailman. So, I waved and shouted, "Hello Tim!" and he answered back, "Hello, i vetem!" ----> It was just like something you would see on Leave it to Beaver or something. Very 1950-ish. I swore for a minute we were all in black and white.

Ok, I am done now. My diet is failing. I don't know why. I should be at 148.6 this Saturday. When I weighed myself this morning I was still at 150.0. (shakes head) I am so upset.

thank you for the cat info... i will start saving my milkrings in anticipation of sophie's 3rd birthday! :D

that is so funny that she wouldn't pee until you did! cats are such creatures of habit. i wonder what would have happened if you didn't "go to the bathroom" at all? would she have just held it in unti the next day? i also wonder what she would have done if you'd gone in her box. ;) [mayonessa] 2/10/2005 11:47:48 PM
don't be discouraged about your diet... there will always be a little backslide, i think it's the natural reaction of your body. also remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so if you're working out more, that the density your muscle is creating will make the scale go up instead of down.

keep focused... i know you can keep it up! i'm seriously impressed with your dedication so far :) [mayonessa] 2/10/2005 11:49:46 PM
That story about your cat was great.

Once when I was digging some holes to plant trees in, my cat was standing by watching me. Suddenly she disappeared behind a bush. She reappeared, looked down in the hole and ran back behind the bush. Later I went over there and she had dug a hole about the same size as I was digging.

Cats are fun. I miss mine, so I want more cat stories from you. [Solitary17] 2/11/2005 12:10:30 AM
my cat Carter comes to bed with us every night, and sleeps right up next to me ALL night long, he won't ever get out of bed until I do. Once, I had the flu and I was in bed for like 20 hours, and he stayed in bed the entire time.

He also has a routine with me. When we wake up we stretch and then head to the bathroom. I can't ever go to the bathroom without him in there! He freaks out if I do. [chatterbug]
