Christmas and Catching Up Tuesday, December 28, 2004
Christmas was great. There was a total of ten people invited... only 9 showed up. My brother in law was really sick so he didn't make it.
Dinner went well. I burnt all the stuffing. I didn't cook the green been caseral long enough. I had enough corn to feed all the solders in Iraq. The turkey turned out perfect... and well ya can't really mess up potatoes. The gravey my sister made and the coleslaw my mom brought. The rolls were on the burnt side, but edible. The milk was cold. The pie was yummy. I think that covers just about all of dinner.
My cat and I put her stocking out this year. She must have been awfully bad. Poor Sophie didn't get anything in her stocking. I feel kind of bad for her. Maybe she'll behave more this year.
I finally at the age of 29 got a purse for myself. I have always felt weird carrying one. Too girly I guess. However, it's nice to be able to carry everything I need with me now. I keep my phone in it too, so I always know where it is. Oh and my money is all organized. OH! And I know where my credit cards are. They were lost for a few months, but I knew they weren't stolen because no one used them. I found them and put them in my purse. I am pretty excited about the whole purse thing. I think I will put a tampon in it just so I can feel competely girly....
As for the Keith and his G/F thing. They called me one more time so I called the police, just like I warned them. I got the police to call them personally and ask them to stop calling me. It worked so far. Not one call from them. It's nice not to be bitched out for answering my own phone! Now I can competely forget about them and move on with my own life.
Jeff and Lisa are getting evicted out of their apartment. The "funny" thing is how much Lisa bragged that she got Jeff all these great things for Christmas. Her exact words, "My man doesn't go with out anything." All I could do is roll my eyes and think to myself, "except a place to live." Kyle, Wendy, and the new baby Lilly, are getting their house forclosed on. I haven't really talked to these people in a month. Now all of a sudden I am their best friends again. I am an apartment manager. Coincidence? I think not. Maybe they can take back the 120 pairs of shoes they bought with the 60 thousand dollar second morgage they took out last summer. That should pay for one months rent. Thinking about the whole thing makes me want to drink heavily.
Ok, I think I have completely caught this diary up. Now I am off to read.

Ha ha, I'm totally the same way about purses. I don't know why, I just can't force myself to carry one. Maybe when I reach 29, eh?
I'm glad calling the police seems to have worked for you thus far. You most definitely shouldn't have to put up w/that.
Hope you have a great New Year! [Solitary17]

Hey thanks for the note. I agree with everything you said. I was just feeling very vengeful when I wrote that. But thanks for being a sensible voice in the wild darkness. Hope we can get to know each other.
