Context: Timothy 4
The Spirit distinctly says that in latter times some shall fall away from the belief, paying attention to misleading spirits, and teachings of demons,
speaking lies in hypocrisy, having been branded on their own conscience,
forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods Elohim created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
Because [my emphasis] every creature of Elohim is good, and none is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
for it is set apart by the Word of Elohim and prayer. [meaning that, though “unclean” foods are prohibited by Leviticus and elsewhere, all food is good- and is made good through thanksgiving and prayer]

Further, esoteric Christianity might say something of the sort, that in the times of the OT, the Human Being did not possess and ‘I’ strong enough(or at all) to enforce a prayer intention upon their own food- and so create good from the unclean. They were at the mercy of ‘what was’ and so must follow strict rules in order to preserve their physical bodies from the harmful impulses caused by the unclean food.

Note about Timothy 4:5; 1 Corinthians 10
You eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions because of conscience,
for “The earth belongs to YHWH, and all that fills it.”
And if any of the unbelievers invite you, and you wish to go, you eat whatever is set before you, asking no question of conscience.
And if anyone says to you, “This was slaughtered to idols,” do not eat it because of the one pointing it out to you, and on account of the conscience, for “The earth belongs to YHWH, and all that fills it.”
Now I say conscience, not your own, but that of the other. For why is my freedom judged by another’s conscience?
But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for what I give thanks?
Therefore, whatever you do, do all to the esteem of Elohim.

Further clarity is had about the old prohibition to eating ‘unclean’ foods- give thanks and reverence to the Creator of Life YHWH, so that the food is imbued with the reverence. Then it is no longer unclean. We should be doing this, because as Timothy 4 goes on; Practice these matters , be in them, so that your progress might be plain to all. Pay attention to yourself and to the teaching. Continue in them, for in doing this you shall save yourself and those who hear you.

From Timothy 5
Do not rebuke an older man, but appeal to him as a a father, younger ones as brothers.
But if any widow has children or grand-children, let them first learn to treat their own house reverently, and to repay their parents. For this is good and acceptable before Elohim.
But she who is living in luxury is dead while she lives.
And if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the belief and is worse than an unbeliever.

I am sharing more or less as a reflection here on the Scripture that made me more certain in questioning the actions of my mother.
I had for a long time, I assumed that her devotion to religion and Christianity were real, genuine, etc. However, I have severe doubts since the last email she sent me. In which she told me in no uncertain terms that I am the one that needs to forgive, to become less angry and abusive, to stop blaming, to find Christ, and so one and so forth. I wondered what the reaction would be if she shared her assertions in that email with a priest? Or just someone familiar with the Scriptures or the Bible?
I no longer think that she is at all genuine. But, rather that she is simply using her feelings of victimhood, hurt, self-righteous blame, and defensiveness to try to punish me. To try to slam me over the head with her rebuke.

Rather, I think that the Scriptures depict a story closer to reality as I understand it; embody the forgiveness and you will be forgiven. Love the enemy (the assumed perpetrator) and you will be accepted even in your transgressions. Have no combativeness to fight, and only a will for everyone to be made whole, and it will be so.
