I knew it was going to be long and it was. Did Double D this a.m. Ran home put Booger Head in the house. Then off to Ms.Penthouse and went to the country club. What a hot mess she turns into with one drink. Just awful. Closes her eyes chews with her mouth wide open and then sneezes over and over because she can’t handle the sauce that goes with the shrimp. I ordered a salad I think I took 4 bites. Just taking care of her is a mess. Bring wet wipes and tissues. Fold 5-9 tissues ijust so so she can wipe her nose when it runs and also to catch all the used tissues in. You don’t wear medical gloves at the table ( darn it) Then the valet comes and grabs the cars and off we go. Back to the penthouse. More showing around for sheets, pillow cases and a pad to put under the sheet for the chair. That is going to be one lllllllllong week. But the $$$$ will be worth it. I’d rather be tired than broke.
Then on back down toward where I live. Take care of Ms.Rose who is a hand full now. She use to be really ok waking up. Now she acts like a small child. The dementia has really kicked in. I make her grandson help me. She is a big woman and he can help me put her in the wheel chair. Took her for a walk then she felt better. If you take her for a walk first then she kind of lightens up a bit. Then off to O.T. and she told me to get out the way so she can watch tv. I turned it off and told her when she is done we will watch tv. Daughter couldn’t come home fast enough. Fed the kids, took them for a walk, got a shower, made coffee for tomorrow and did 2 C.E.’s for my pharm.tech reg. thingy. Now trying to close down what lil mind I have left and go to bed.
Now that I got this bizz gig in my head I feel better. I am sure when I go into the office tomorrow I will feel the tension. I don’t care. Just give me a schedule, my gloves ( I stock pile those babies up - there $22 a box) and pay check stub.
O! Got a call from a friend who is having a hard time like I was a few years back. Anyway she called me back later and thanked me for listening to her. Poor thing. This is not over. I still know people out of work, living with family members and what not. Well I am going to grab some cookies and milk and call it a party. Whoop - de - friggen - do
