Dogs are People Too (aka The Incomprehensible Rant: an Alternative to Public Facebook Shaming) in Procrastination Journal

And sometimes dogs should mean more than people.

For example, you might care slightly more about the dog you’ve had for 12 years, since she was a puppy, more than a woman you’ve known for 3 years, you cheated on your wife with her, and now she lives in Michigan.

However,
For some subhuman specimens, it is perfectly acceptable to spend copious amounts of time up in Michigan, first for said woman’s dying sister, and now just because. Just because you have LOTS of vacation time so sure, it’s totally fine, you’ll take half a week off for Michigan but not one day off to watch your dog, who needs to see a doctor.

You have tons of money to spend on a new car, bullshit bicycle accessories on eBay, bikes, taking some other, local, woman out to the movies. But you ain’t spending no money on that dog; that dog ain’t sick. That dog is only old and only threw up a lot and only had an elevated liver test and only might have to take medicine for her liver.

That DOG is only a member of your family, but then again you’ve never had a strong concept of family.

You are the same person who wouldn’t take off half a day to take your daughters to the doctor or whatever they might need. The same person who is barely even at work anymore for some cheating woman in Michigan. The same person who is cheating on the woman he cheated with.

Because you don’t listen when people talk to you, because you have a double-digit IQ, because you only take care of yourself and your dick, and everything and everyone else is a big inconvenience to you, not worth your attention, time, or even the money that you took from us.
