The last disco? in My life, my world, my thoughts.

Saturday I completed what could be my last ever disco with my Dad as he is retiring due to his age and I am giving it as I want to cut down on my hours worked. It was an enjoyable event at a residential home for people with minor disabilities. Certainly makes a change from dealing with the usual drunks.

It’s my Mums birthday tomorrow and the art table lamp that I brought her is faulty. I have emailed Amazon in the hope that I can receive a new adapter instead of sending the whole item back. However, I just received an email saying I have to send the whole item back which is annoying! Another annoying issue involves trying to get in contact with one of the local fencing companies to confirm a date for having 2 fence panels installed outside my house. I first contacted them in August and arranged a price but so far no further action has happened.

So today I went for a decent walk over Brean Down. The walk involved a lot of steep steps, then hill walking to the fort at the end of the down before following the access walk back. I need to work on sorting out a supplies rucksack for my walks containing water and food.

Next week should be relatively easy at work. It is half-term so the majority of kids and teaching staff should be off site. I have a couple of medium sized jobs to complete but it should be an easy and quiet week.
