I have returned the faulty lamp that I purchased Mum for her birthday. The fantastic news is that the company are going to send me a free ‘sample’ of the same product that I can keep as long as I write a review on Amazon. I am happy to do that and I save myself £40 in the process.
This week has been easy, nice and reasonably enjoyable at work. As it is just me and my line manager who is retiring in seven weeks time we are taking it easy. I am coming in late whilst he is going early. We are spending more time sat watching TV and driving tea than actually working.
The invoice for my lorry driving course has arrived. I need to pay £1171. The date of the course is slowly creeping up now. I only have one more full week before it begins and I can’t wait. I have been working on improving my car driving the past month by taking it right back to basics by slowing down, holding the steering wheel properly and checking mirrors before indicating.
My Wednesday night walk took me along Weston seafront. It was a pleasant stroll and the sea was in. This was followed by a hot chocolate drink from McDonalds, defeating the point of the walk.
Sleep is major issue at the moment. I need to ensure I get enough sleep.. i.e. allow 8 hours rest time in bed. This will be especially important when I am traveling to Exeter for training course and catching the 5:45am train.
I need to stop going to the shop when I am traveling home for work. I waste my money on buying junk food as I am tired and probably not thinking straight. Tonight I wasted £10 on rubbish food I would not have purchased any other time.
I am not sure what I happening this weekend. The original plan was to head down to Bideford to walk and watch a football match. However, its possible that I might be getting fencing installed on my courtyard. If that happens then I will need to look for something else for my weekend entertainment.
Tonight has been boring. I watched TV for 3 hours and I have just dosed around. It was one of those nights where some company would have been nice or some one to text would have been good! #bordem
