I don’t know how long his got left. I was with him when the “cancer specialist doctor” said that dad needs to say what needs to be said and finish his affairs.
Dad took it calmly.
I realised that I have never seen him acting out emotions and also that I have become exactly the same.
Then he got extremely focused so he have time to finish all before the end.
I got the cabin in the woods. Selling off the forest.
I did not see sadness.
I think he believes that he will meet Nanny, the love of his life, on the other side. She passed away 2016.
It’s surreal, and this is something we all will go through one day.
