Hi y’all. A couple of you checked in on me because of yesterday’s entry and I was touched. Thank you! That’s super kind and I love you. I’m sorry that I didn’t even think that writing a one-liner like that might cause concern.
What actually happened is that I’m trying to write an entry a day, and lately I’ve had some very busy days and it’s been a challenge to squeeze an entry in. By the time I sat down last night I was exhausted from the day and just couldn’t think of anything to write about. You know when you’ve had a long day and your brain starts to go numb at the end of it? That was me yesterday.
But I still wanted to put something on paper since writing an entry a day is part of my daily goal list recently. I titled the entry “fake entry” because it was really a lame excuse of an entry and with some peoples’ criteria, it might not have counted.
HOWEVER! I believe that showing up is sometimes the most important part of making a commitment, and that’s what I did. I showed up here. I said “hey” and then I GTFO.
Ha!
So how are we doing? All good here right now. I’m sooooo looking forward to spending the week with [Athena] next week and I need to plan for that. We are going to be doing some INCREDIBLE things and I can’t wait to post about them!
But for now, I need to get back to work. We’re pretty busy trying to set up a new CRM system that my boss wants to use for EV-RY-THING and I’m trying to make my product development projects and tasks fit into this system and it’s weird and frustrating and a lot of work. But it’s good to be busy too.
Get ready for a couple of RADs too…getting on Bumble has also been a line item of my new daily tasks, and that means DATES! I’ve made two for tomorrow: a lunch/coffee date that I’m suuuuuper excited about, and a happy hour/dinner date that I’m a little less enthused about since this coffee date slid in, but I am going to consciously make the decision to be very open minded tomorrow.
I should check my horoscope!
Ok…off to look at that and then bust a move on the work front.
